Today (20 March 2018), the UK government unveiled a new Civil Liability Bill which aims to cut car insurance premiums. RSA has issued the following response:
“These proposals are a long awaited opportunity to tackle the rising insurance premiums that have affected motorists, businesses and the NHS in recent years. A new approach to setting the personal injury discount rate and tighter rules around whiplash claims will help make the system fairer and reduce costs. We will be delighted to be able to pass those savings on to our customers.”
