RSA’s Chairman, Martin Scicluna, was last night named FTSE100 Non-Executive Director of the Year for his work chairing RSA’s board since 2013
Martin was recognised for having made a significant contribution to RSA’s strategy and for demonstrating high ethical standards and championing strong corporate governance practices. On receiving the award, Martin said:
“I'm honoured to receive this Award. It clearly recognises the great work that all of us, at all levels of RSA, have been doing over the past few years and that we will continue to do as we aim for ‘best-in-class’ in all our Regions.”
The Non-Executive Director Awards have been running for twelve years and recognise the achievements of non-executive directors who contribute daily to the success and growth of their business. Sponsored by The Sunday Times, the judging panel was led this year by Sir Roger Carr, longstanding Chairman of BAE Systems.
Commenting on Martin’s award win, RSA Group’s CEO Stephen Hester said:
“I am very pleased to congratulate Martin on this award, which recognises the great personal impact he makes as Chair of RSA’s Board, and the progress that the organisation has made with his support.”
