Last week 350 RSA staff in the UK took part in Volunteer Week 2015.
From Halifax to Horsham, our staff donated their time to local community projects: decorating, gardening, building and helping out in local schools and colleges.
Even our CEO, Stephen Hester, got involved by hosting a group of year six pupils from South London primary schools as part of an employability workshop organised by Enabling Enterprise.
"Our business has been through difficult times over the last few years but our commitment to our community programmes has not changed.
"I want RSA to play a positive role in the local communities in which we operate and for our employees to be motivated and inspired. Volunteering can help us achieve both of these goals.
"My own volunteering experience this week was hugely rewarding: having 20 primary school children in my office, unafraid to ask direct and personal questions was both refreshing and insightful!"
