Being a part of our local communities is something that has always been incredibly important to RSA. We recognise that, as an insurer, we have a strong connection with local communities, providing as much support as we can.
In fact, RSA employees support local charities and good causes through volunteering and fundraising activities throughout the year. Everyone at RSA can take up to two days of volunteering each year to support causes they care about. In fact, in 2019, our employees racked up 11,900 volunteering hours helping local causes.

I work closely with local charities in the area and help my colleagues get involved with volunteering, as well as coordinating fundraising activities across the site. Partnering with Neighbourly
We are partners of Neighbourly, an online platform which connects us to local charities and community projects that need our help. The Neighbourly platform gives us the opportunity to collaborate with charities and local groups, so we can ensure the time we are giving will have a lasting and positive impact on the communities we serve.
As well as working with Neighbourly, we’re passionate about raising money for the causes our employees care about the most. That's why we offer a pound-for-pound match funding scheme for employee fundraising activities in aid of any UK-registered charity.
We also have a Give As You Earn (GAYE) scheme, which lets employees make a regular, monthly donation to a charity of their choice from. RSA matches donations of up to £10 per month.
