RSA makes key appointments to Risk and Audit functions

RSA today announces key appointments in its Risk and Audit functions. Dave Howell, currently Chief Auditor, will become Chief Risk Officer and Yasemin Dogu, Head of Audit, UK & Europe, will succeed Dave as Chief Auditor. Dave and Yasemin are both based in London and the appointments are due to take effect on 1st June.

Dave has been with RSA for over 20 years, starting out working within the GeoRisk team and moving across to Audit. He has held several senior management roles and worked extensively across Canada, Scandinavia LatAm and Asia. Originally from a risk and environmental consultancy background, Dave holds degrees in Law, Applied Geochemistry and Environmental Biogeochemistry and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Insurance and Institute of Internal Audit.

Yasemin joined RSA in 2018 and is currently Head of Audit, UK & Europe. Prior to joining RSA, Yasemin spent over 8 years at Aviva in Internal Audit and Finance and was selected as one of five employees selected into their senior leadership programme ‘Finance Future Talent’. Yasemin started her career with PwC in Turkey in 2004 where she trained as a Chartered Accountant and following her time at PwC, she worked at Marks & Spencer for three years covering financial operations for Turkey, Russia and Ukraine.
