Triple win for RSA at the British Insurance Awards

RSA scooped three awards at the prestigious British Insurance Awards held at the Royal Albert Hall in London yesterday (5th July).

Young Achiever of the Year was won by underwriting strategy officer Hannah-Kate Smith (pictured below) and the multi-award winning RSA Referral Vet Network won Claims Initiative of the Year.

The Major Loss Award was won by RSA in collaboration with Harris Balcombe, RGL and Vericlaim for their team effort in getting the McVitie’s (United Biscuits) Caldewgate biscuit factory back up and running following the December 2015 flood.

RSA was also shortlisted for Personal Lines Insurer of the Year and the Investing in the Profession category for the Broker Leader Programme, while More Than was shortlisted for the Digital Insurance Innovation of the Year.

Commercial Risk Solutions managing director James Gearey took to the stage to present an award to the RSA-sponsored Commercial Lines Broker of the Year (SME/mid-corporate) winner Centor Insurance & Risk Management.
