Every year, we ask all our UK employees to tell us how they feel about working here. We take this feedback seriously, sharing it across the business, from the Executive Team right down to local business level. Every leader uses it to agree on improvements they will make with their team.
We reward success
At RSA we celebrate success with the Platinum Club, our prestigious recognition programme. Finalists attend a glittering awards night, held at a different secret location every year. For the winners, the VIP treatment continues with the trip of a lifetime. In previous years, they have travelled to New York, Morocco and St Petersburg. It’s our way of saying thank you to the teams and individuals that have delivered something special for the business in the preceding 12 months.
We care about our communities
We believe that there’s no bigger long-term threat to our customers than that of climate change. That’s why at a global level we partner together with the environmental organisation WWF to investigate emerging environmental risks from climate change, and encourage actions by governments, business and customers. There’s even the chance for our employees to work on a secondment with WWF each year.
If you’d like to volunteer, fundraise or get more involved our Corporate Responsibility team can help you. We encourage all our employees to become active in volunteering. Last year alone we raised £750,000, volunteered 37,000 hours and donated 200,000 gifts for good causes.
It’s not all work either; we’re a sociable bunch too. There are lots of opportunities to get involved in local social activities. And for one day each year we celebrate being part of RSA with ‘RSA Day’ – a chance for people to let their hair down and have some fun at work!
