“I'm excited to be taking on this new leadership role in a business that I know very well, with teams who genuinely care about our customers and take real pride in providing a great service for them,” said Catherine Frost

Since joining RSA in 2001 as a finance graduate, Cath has had a successful and varied career at the company.

For nine years she held various finance and risk positions within RSA’s UK business in Liverpool. In 2010, Cath joined RSA Motability, first as finance director before being appointed customer and operations director in 2016. She made significant strides in this role, simplifying structures and processes to enable her team to deliver excellent customer service with a market leading Net Promoter Score of +86.

In December 2017, Cath was named interim MD of RSA Motability following the appointment of Rob Gibbs, her predecessor, as MD of Commercial Risk Solutions, RSA UK & International. Cath continues to report to Rob.

Cath takes over from Rob Gibbs who was appointed managing director of RSA commercial risk solutions (CRS) earlier this year.

Rob Gibbs said:

“I am delighted that Cath has accepted this position and I know she will continue to drive the business forward with customers at the heart of our decision-making. Cath brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this role and I have no doubt that she will be huge success.”

Notes to editors

The Motability Scheme has helped over three million people get mobile since it was set up in 1978.

There are two organisations that work closely together to deliver the Motability Scheme:

  • Motability is a national charity that is responsible for oversight and Scheme policy, and also raises funds and provides financial assistance to customers who would otherwise be unable to afford the mobility solution they need.

  • Motability Operations is a company that operates the Scheme under contract to Motability and is responsible for the finance, administration and maintenance of Motability cars, scooters and powered wheelchairs.

Together, Motability and RSA Motability have arranged to give insurance protection for all cars and products leased through Motability.
